Join us for our inaugural offering of Financial Peace University. FPU is a 9-week class intended to help participants take strides toward financial freedom, debt reduction, and a healthier financial future. The cost for this course is discounted to $80.

Explore Kirkwood
Explore Kirkwood is a three-week class offered every other month that gives participants an overview of the life, ministry, and beliefs of Kirkwood Church. The three weeks center on what we call the ABC's of the Christian Life: Abide in Christ, Belong to a Local Church, Connect in Community & Commit to the Mission. Attending the class does not mean you must become a member of Kirkwood, but it is required for membership. Weeks one and two meet at 9:00am and Week 3 is held after the second service with lunch and childcare provided. A typical Explore Kirkwood group size is 5-12.
Times and Dates:
October 12, 9:00am: Session 1- Abide in Christ
October 19, 9:00am: Session 2- Belong to a Local Church
October 26, 12:00pm: Session 3- Connect in Community & Commit to the Mission

Family Meeting
Members of Kirkwood Church should make plans to attend our July Family Meeting. We will enjoy a meal together as family after we give our attention to prayer, testimonies, reports, and discussion related to various things in the life, ministry, and future of the church.

Women's Fall Gathering
Join us for a night of fellowship, worship, and the Word as we hear from Beth Moore! This Beth Moore has experience on the mission field and is staff at Tennessee Baptist Mission Board; we are so excited to welcome her to Kirkwood!
We are excited to introduce childcare for this event! Childcare will be from 5:30-8:00 pm. Kiddos will need to eat dinner before they arrive, but will receive a small snack during the event. Please register your kiddos for childcare if you will need it. You will list your name as the attendee, and your children’s names and ages on the next page. Thanks!

Men's Breakfast
Gents, join us in the church Fellowship Hall for our monthly Men’s Breakfast. We’ll share a warm, tasty meal together, spend time with one another, and receive a devotion for God’s Word. Open to all.

Back to School BLOCK PARTY
Join us for our annual BLOCK PARTY! This is a FREE low-key, come as you, hang out time for the whole family. We’ll have lots of food and beverage options, sno-cones, popcorn, inflatable bounce houses, corn hole and other yard games, and more!
We’d love for you to invite your firends, family, neighbors, and co-workers and come hang out with us as the school year kicks back off!

Women's Summer Retreat
Join us as we dwell on the beauty of God’s faithfulness, worshipping Him in spirit and truth for all He has done, all He is doing, and all He will do.
This year, we will be at Deer Run again, and are excited to be able to offer a two-day option! Women ages 18 and up are welcome. We can’t wait to see you there!

Kirkwood Community Easter Egg Hunt
All are invited for our annual Kirkwood Community Easter Egg Hunt! We will have different areas set up across our property for egg hunts for different age ranges. With thousands of eggs spread out, snow cones, snacks, grilled food, and more, this event is one of our favorites of the year!

Good Friday Service
Join us for our Good Friday Service April 18th at 5pm. This is an intentional time to set our hearts and minds of Christ’s great sacrifice on the cross. It is a great way to prepare for Easter Sunday.

Sunday Seminar w/ Dr. Rob Plummer
Want to learn how to read the Bible better? Make plans to attend this plenary talk with Dr. Rob Plummer, professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, at Real Life Sango at 5pm. Dr. Plummer will be talking about Hermeneutics, the technical term for the interpretation of Scripture. It is sure to be a fantastic talk.
Dr. Plummer is Chair of the Department of New Testament and Collin and Evelyn Aikman Professor of Biblical Studies. He has served in missionary assignments of varying length in China, Israel, Trinidad, Ghana, Malaysia, Cuba, and Turkey. Plummer founded and hosts the screencast, The Daily Dose of Greek. He is married to Chandi and they have three children. He is a member of Sojourn East in Louisville, Kentucky.

Galentine's Party
Ladies, daughters, and granddaughters of all ages are invited to come together for this fun event. With lunch provided, fun crafts/activities, and letter-writing for those in nursing homes, this event is sure to be a sweet time together. More details soon!
